Broadleaved woodland

These valleys are similar in form to the other V-shaped valleys, though they tend to be narrower, steeper and craggier. They are distinguished by being extensively and almost exclusively covered by semi-natural, broadleaved woodland, or rough grassland and bracken. Small areas of inbye land are maintained on the valley floor.
