3. Integrated features plans
Integrated features conservation planning involves landscape scale management.  It  is a concept that has arisen since the mid-1990s.  It aims to take a holistic approach by linking the conservation management, the built heritage and their cultural setting in one planning and recording database. These plans can include issues, such as local economies/conflicts with respect to pastoralism, agriculture, eco-tourism, geodiversity and the health and social benefits of accessing a local protected environment.
