The Tourism Management Programme Monitoring
Framework provides a framework for assessing the achievement each
of the management programme’s four objectives. This has been
framework designed to enable periodic monitoring the impacts of the
programme’s implementation, which will in turn inform
the adaptive management of the area, and therefore ensure
that overall benefits from implementation are maximised, and that
any negative impacts are appropriately mitigated. As shown in Table
27 below, the framework sets out the desired positive impact of
each programme’s objectives, indicators that the objective
has been successfully achieved, how these indicators could be
measured, and potential sources of the information
required.
