1 Option A3 - Active Management

• Maintain all existing dams.
• Seek to establish new areas of standing water where appropriate and where there is no conflict with any important feature on the reserve.
• When opportunities arise (eg. during drought) seek to diversify the habitat by creating spits, islands and smaller ponds.
• Seek at all times to ensure that the habitat remains suitable for breeding amphibians.
• Monitor vegetation changes and record rare species where appropriate.

• Allow residents and overnight guests to use the hides overlooking the ponds subject to the wardens discretion.
