Sherwood Forest Community Rangers are active partners in the Natural Connections Project Steering Group. Sherwood
Forest Community Rangers have specific responsibility for supporting the designation and management of the Oak Tree Heath Local Nature Reserve and to encourage community participation in the management of this site.
Sherwood Forest Community Rangers recognise the importance of the biodiversity of the Oak Tree Heath site within the Sherwood Forest Landscape Character Area and have prioritised partnership working in the District to continue community engagement work on this site beyond the current Wildspace!
