Habitat management option A2 limited intervention
- Monitor
breeding beaches and caves and remove any pollutants
eg.oil or oiled debris discarded net or rope.

Eliminate so far as is possible
disturbance to the breeding
beachesand haul-outs. Liase with Marine Reserve staff.

Study and research option C2 specialist facilities
- monitor
and record in detail the annual
production of pups and the survival to first moult
- Identify
and record, where possible, the ocurrence of well marked
individuals at the breeding beaches or haul outs.
- Note-
future management, study, research, education and interpretation
for tghe Grey Seal will need to be planned and undertaken in close
lliason with the CCW's marine reserve staff owing to the overlap in
responsibilities
- Promote
studies which might provide further insight into the breed- biology
of the seals on Skomer and in south west Wales generally.
