  • By the use of Rabbit exclosures continue to study development of climax festucetum type vegetation.
  • Promote studies of the relationship between vegetation type and invertebrates.

  • Promote studies where research will benefit habitat management.
3 General Access Option E2 -Restricted
  • No public access other than on permissible footpath system.
  • Access allowed to researchers and reserve staff for monitoring purposes      
  • 1 Habitat management option 3- active management
  • Control bracken encroachment
  • Promote surveys of invertebrates especially with regard to the rare Sifolinia karavajevi
  • Survey meadow dependant bird species especially Lapwings to modify management if appropriate and to understand the affects of management.
  • In areas where dense Bracken is removed, by survey and photograph, monitor vegetational change.
  • Survey Wood Sage to consider future management and to monitor spread of the species.
